Terms and Conditions – Serene Homes Nigeria 1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all property transactions, management services, and consultancy engagements with Serene Homes Nigeria (“the Company”). By engaging our services, clients agree to be bound by these Terms.

  2. Scope of Services

  • Property sales, leasing, and rentals

  • Property management and maintenance

  • Real estate advisory and consultancy

  • Tenant and landlord representation

  • Investment and development facilitation

  3. Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise agreed.

  • Fees are payable upon execution of agreements or as stipulated in contracts.

  • Late payments may attract interest charges at prevailing rates.

  • Refunds are subject to company policy and applicable laws.

  4. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Comply with tenancy agreements, property use regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Notify the Company promptly of disputes, defects, or maintenance issues.

  • Respect contractual timelines and obligations.

  5. Company Obligations

  • Ensure transparency and professionalism in all dealings.

  • Provide accurate property information and documentation.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client records.

  • Act in compliance with Nigerian property and tenancy laws.

  6. Liability

  • The Company shall not be liable for losses arising from client negligence, misrepresentation, or breach of contract.

  • Liability is limited to the scope of services expressly agreed upon.

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.) release the Company from obligations during such periods.

  7. Dispute Resolution

  • Parties shall first attempt amicable resolution through negotiation.

  • If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.

  • Decisions of the arbitral tribunal shall be final and binding.

  8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly the Lagos State Tenancy Law and other applicable property regulations.

  9. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of changes, and continued engagement constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
